World, Kushano-Sasanian, Vahram I, gold dinar c. 330-365 AD, Balkh, Vahram standing left, wearing elaborate crown, holding trident and sacrificing at altar, over which stands a trident standard, tulip with tamgha above to right/Shiv, standing before bull, holding diadem and trident. 35 mm, 7.82 g.
Although in the name of Vahram, this coinage is often attributed to the early part of the reign of Kidara I, c. 350-65 AD.
EF, lustrous, a few minor marks, reverse crudely struck as usual.
