Roman Imperial, Augustus, AR denarius, Lugdunum (Lyon) mint, 2 BC - 4 AD, laureate head right/ Gaius and Lucius Caesar with shield and spear, simpulum and lituus above. 18.5 mm, 3.35 g.
good VF, light hoard patina, subtle ancient test mark on edge showing bright silver. An interesting example, showing how it was checked whether a suspicious coin was a fourrée or not.
