al-Dahhak ibn Qays was a Khajirite rebel who was proclaimed caliph in Iraq in 745 AD; he was defeated by an army of the Umayyad caliph Marwan II in 746 AD. 

Obverse central inscription: الله / احد الله / الصمد (God the One, God the Eternal) 

Obverse outer inscription: بسم الله لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له (in the name of God, there is no god but God alone, He has no associate) 

Reverse central inscription: محمد / رسول / الله (Muhammad, Prophet of God)

Reverse outer inscription: امر الضحاك ضرب هذا الفلس بالموسل (the Amir al-Dahhak odered this fals struck in Mosul) 

VF, earthen deposit, a sharp and clear strike. Rare.
