Greek, Lycia, uncertain, AR obol, c. 400 BC, in types of Cilicia, Soloi, Athena facing left wearing crested helmet/grapes. 8 mm, 0.65 g.

The coinage of Soloi was imitated in Lycia in the late 5th or early 4th century BC. This apparently unpublished coin likely belongs to the same series; the style is anomalous for Soloi, and that the bust of Athena faces left is also not typical.

VF+, surface marks, residually lustrous. Extremely rare, perhaps the only known example.

SNG Levante - (cf. 47 for a plausible prototype)
