Greek, Kingdom of Lydia, Croesus, AR stater c. 560-546 BC, Sardes mint, confronting foreparts of lion & bull, bull with leg bent at knee/two incuse punches. 19 mm, 10.27 g. 


This coin comes from the earliest issue of silver under Croesus, presumably contemporary to the heavy standard gold coinage of the same types. 

about VF, usual minor surface roughness, marks, find patination. Very rare.
