During the reign of Stephen, Carlisle was captured by Scotland, and held until Malcolm IV returned it to England by treaty in 1157.
about VF, rough surfaces, wavy flan. Excessively rare, perhaps unique from these dies, and only the third published example of Ricard striking for Prince Henry.
