Greek, Sicily, Syracuse, Hieron I, silver tetradrachm, c. 475-470 BC, Quadriga driven by a charioteer, Nike above crowns the horses/the nymph Arethousa surrounded by dolphins. 23 mm, 16.98 g. 


VF+, struck off-centre, old cabinet tone. Excellent style, and with a superb provenance.
