British tokens, Uncertain, S.A./blank, copper token c. 17th century.
The origin and purpose of this token is obscure. It has a British provenance for roughly the last century and was presumably found and made here, but appears to date to an earlier period than the main 17th century token series; based on styler perhaps to the 1620s. Possibly a farthing or a non-monetary token.
about VF, deposit. Extremely rare, perhaps the only known example.
