This rare issue was struck before Philip's accession to the Spanish throne in January 1556; his title as King of England is therefore given before that of Prince of Spain, and the reverse escuteon is halved with the arms of England and France.
VF+, striking crack, minor deposit, striking weakness, a fine portrait. Very rare.
